Slogan Of The Festival
涅槃(Nirvana, Yeol-Ban)
Ten (sounds Yeol in Korean) is aperfect number meaning complete fullness and the Chinese character BAN (般) has the meaning of enjoyment and uplifting. In many difficultsituations, an animator comes to complete their animations one by one throughthe creating process with agonies and sufferings. He or she realizes ten kindsof pleasure of animation creating. And finally the animator enters into Nirvana(Yeol-Ban) after reaching the ultimate stage. Imparting a meaning to 10thpleasure, we gladly would like to uplift pleasure and congratulate on our 10thIndie-AniFest along with everyone that participates in this festival.

Indie Ani-Fest talks about the Korean independent animation. Withthe value of ‘independence,’ ‘experiment,’ ‘passion’ and ‘vision,’ Koreanindependent animation directors make this festival together.
The Festival Dreaming of Expansion
As IndieAni-Fest has offered new point of views to the society with pure passion, nowwe are dreaming of artistic expansion to the encounter with various genresincluding music, film, play and fine art.
The Festival with Hope
This isthe festival which listens to the animation creators in Korean society. Welisten to their agonies and thoughts. Looking for practical alternatives, ourfestival is to see a hoe for Korean animations.
