Felis is a kitten that isn’t good at hunting. He goes after a fish with clumsy movements which unexpectedly help him to catch a blowfish. But the blowfish gets bigger and bigger, and Felis rises into the sky with it. The clumsy hunting shows how the cat is imperfect but also charming and endearing. The final scene as the cat floats up with the blowfish may seem like a failure, but it also conveys humor and imagination. The warm texture of the wool felt and the character acting strongly convey Felis’s character.
