Synopsis
A mother's room is full of sadness, despair and emptiness after a miscarriage. While preparing to greet her baby, the mother's heart was filled with happiness and the room was filled with baby toys (musical box, mobile, etc). From the mother's room she begins her journey into sea and space with her baby.
Director's Comment
This is a story about miscarriage. Emotions such as loss, sadness and guilt of a mother who had a miscarriage were expressed as an empty room. Empty room is a space of the womb for the baby and a room of emotion for the mother at the same time. Mother’s room was filled with sadness after miscarriage but is been vacated while overcoming it. And it’s getting filled again with the expectation for new life to come. Baby’s room, Womb is endless space ( playground, sea and the universe ) for the baby. Baby left it after enjoying and playing it happily. Orgel and mobile in this animation mean the loss of a baby but also the expectation of a new life to come. I hope this work would give little comfort to women who got miscarriage.
