Synopsis

At Grandpa's funeral, the granddaughter is overwhelmed by her memories of the old days with Grandpa. From the granddaughter's viewpoint, a glimpse is taken into the past when a young man goes to Taipei, struggling for a living under the changes in the early era in Taiwan as well as the sacrifice he made for the family as the eldest son and his true wishes in life.
