Synopsis

A middle-aged man who is sailing but is having memory lapses. On occasion, he thinks his wife is a strange lady when they are communicating wirelessly. He can see the dark ash and dark water coming at him. a whale having trouble breathing. a burning continent. a ship that is stuck is spewing oil. Though he weakens with time, the brief conversations with his wife give him the strength to fight the huge waves within the storm. Additionally, the world that appeared to him was not the one that his wife had wished for.

Director's Comment

The earth has become a mess faster than we thought. We regularly check the fine dust levels and always put on masks while we are outside. Due to the Fukushima nuclear accident, we have had to use air purifiers in order to breathe comfortably, and years have gone by without us being able to eat fish. The reality is that we have become familiar with the names of various difficult radioactive elements and we can't help but feel a little bitter about the world that we have created, which is full of convenience and greed, and is far more terrible than we imagined, without taking any action.
