Synopsis

A round shaped alien makes an emergency landing on an earthling farmer’s yard. Will the farmer who hates everything that isn’t shaped like a square because of an OCD for squares be able to be friends with the alien?

Director's Comment

We tend to see and judge people who come from a different place or are different from us from our own standards. The character Sid was created after thinking about expressing people like strangers, foreigners, etc. to the extreme by showing them as an alien. Although the farmer 곽두기(Gwakdugi) is betrayed by the square he loved, we learn through the story of Gwakdugi(grandpa) being saved by the round alien he hated so much, that even though people from foreign places act in ways we can’t understand and act out of place in our standards, we may be the wrong ones for judging them. I wanted to send the message that if we open up our minds a little, we can be closer to much more people.
