Synopsis
After living with a hole in my meninges for 10 years, I felt that there was a passage through which thoughts passed between my head and my meninges. Through this, My past regrets passes by brain like a ray of light. The past regrets that starts in your head becomes a flame that burns a cigarette, and the cigarette smoke rises to the end of your head, letting go of past regrets. And finally, the past regrets turn into a stag beetle that I raised as a child and reaches my meninges. And then a mysterious video appears in front of the stag beetle, and encounters another stag beetles life from the past.
Director's Comment
The Producer of this animation suffered from a disease called ‘spontaneous intracranial hypotension’ which is caused by a hole in the meninges from 2011 to 2022, and came to view the disease as an anatomical structure. Considering that the head and spinal cord is anatomically connected and the cerebrospinal fluid is surrounding the meninges, producer imagined that there was a passage through which thoughts passed between them. Through this, producer set up circumstances in which the feelings of anger caused by the disease starting from the Brain to meninges. The emotions of these absurd thoughts were captured about 2,300 frames using a oil paint on acrylic sheet.

Detailed description
Stag beetles mate and then dig a hole in a half-rotten oak tree where they lay their eggs. A small yellow spark brings up painful memories, and unpleasant experiences evolve into more stag beetles. The inside of the head is portrayed with dark red colors and the texture of an oil painting, like the deep water, the depths of the earth, and the deep cosmos.
