Synopsis

Various symbolic objects such as a fish, an apple, an hourglass, a diamond, and a heart, are nicely cooked and displayed on the dining table for a god-like creature. The eternity we yearn for, the meaning we seek, is just one of the daily meals he enjoys.

Detailed description

The symbolic table is set in a solemn atmosphere, being emptied and filled by things both small and large. The objects set on the table show their meaning through their unique form and invite the viewer to investigate them with a curious gaze. This gaze gradually expands, taking in the sense of order surrounding the table from a third-person perspective. Underneath the grand symbols, rather than the finely segmented gaze, the events and forms exist together in a flow where the multilayered dynamics and meanings are both filled and emptied of desire and encountered with a surrealistic perspective. When the cycle of emptying and filling ends, we are invited to a strange feast set in front of our desires that are once more accumulated.
