Synopsis

This film explores the psychological distortion ofwhat an individual sees in a vague and uncertain situation, resulting inhallucinations and gradually infecting others, and finally showing theirrational animation of the group.

Detailed description

We begin with the story of two fishermen on the foggy lakeside. They talk about ghosts and monsters that may appear at the lake on days such as this. Soon, a strange woman approaches and talks to them. Their conversation turns to another fisherman who hasn’t been seen in recent days. Then more and more people begin to appear around them in a suspicious way. Baseless rumors begin to spread, and nobody cares about their true nature. The fishermen, onlookers, and the fog are metaphors for the nature of the masses and a world where fake news and conspiracy theories run rampant.
