Synopsis
Gunther's journey to find out who he is still continues even when his friends are all starving to death.
Director's Comment
Gunther is my 8th short animation and my first comedy. I tried a different approach for this film from previous directing. I made only the characters in the film develop and solve the events. I also tried not to be tied down by established plans and to make free direction extempore. During the first part of the film you might think the scenes are meaningless with sudden jokes and humors. But, the scenes are getting connected towards the ending. My biggest experiment was directing the scenes organically. Contrary to previous works, this film does not have profound messages to deliver. You can just observe silently how the starving characters deal with their situations and where the protagonist sausage Gunther runs towards ceaselessly.
