Synopsis
Every early morning, waking up with alarm, [gireogi appa](*goose daddy in korea) goes to work from his cage. After busy and tight day schedule goes by, [gireogi appa] used to have drown his sorrow in alcohol, and have fallen a sleep. One day, something was happened to him.
Director's Comment
This is a hopeful song for the alienated. In Korea, there are some fathers called ‘kirogi father (goose father)’ who sends his family to foreign countries for children’s education and lives by himself in Korea for economic responsibility. These fathers are not as poor as those in need, and choose this kind of life in a way. For that reason, they do not receive social sympathy or affection from their families, only to become alienated. These days, our society is full of the alienated in blind spots of affection such as ‘kirogi fathers’ Through a trial to seize hope of a kirogi father in this animation, I wish the alienated could embrace hope together.
