Synopsis

An elderly couple live between the woods and the sea. Every day the old man goes to collect firewood. Seeing his plight, an ancient chestnut tree gives the man a purse full of money. The old man hides the money in a clock, unbeknown to his wife, who later sells the clock to buy food.
