Synopsis
Finally, it happens. Mother finds out that my front tooth is shaking. Thinking of pulling out the tooth all day and being scared of it, the kid cannot do anything since the date to pull out the tooth is marked on his calendar. The kid tries to pretend it doesn’t hurt now, saying that it is not the time. Even the kid pretends to sleep to avoid pulling out the tooth. One day, being tired of avoiding seeing dentist, the kid is being dragged by a grey-faced-tooth-man who tries to catch him.
Director's Comment
Pulling out teeth has fear and pain when you cut your skin, but it is an inevitable process of replacement to obtain new strong teeth. Also, it might be the first rite of passage you should go through. Sometimes you go through something unavoidable and to overcome. But you also have your childhood when you never know that pain comes with compensation. Reminding myself of being pulled out my teeth, which was the most fearful experience, I expressed the images. After a kid experience the pain of pulling out teeth, the kid comes to commune with his friend. I pictured it as a sweet compensation after a pain.
