Synopsis
A mysterious chunk is soaring in the middle of a foggy plain. A heart falls to that plain, and at that moment, the protagonist picks it up. Shorty, people by ones and twos start to gather in order to obtain the heart. The protagonist tries not to lose it. This conflict which began from a small quarrel becomes incoherently large as people continuously involve. After the desperate struggle, the identity of the chunk comes to be revealed.
Director's Comment
This film takes some time for self-examination about the fundamental reason of our lives. The metaphor, ‘the heart,’ expresses the skepticism on human society that people try to trample each other. The characters in this film have no mouth and eye. They only have their heads to communicate each other to express themselves. The injuries carved on their heads and their weird shapes show their life traces and destinations. I would like to express the conflicts of the spiritual world beyond the physical world at last. This is, I believe, the crucial role for contemplation about human essence.
