Synopsis
Numerous firm lumps is led towards a big circle. One by one, they become part of the circle after they are caught by feelers. One of the lumps wakes up like a miracle at the moment and tries to get out of the current of lumps. Overcoming numerous feelers and hardships which try to catch it, it escapes from the world in the end. The place where it escapes, however, is another one of the numerous lumps in a bigger world. It realizes that its struggle has just started.
Director's Comment
I wanted to show an ego that tries to escape from the reality in which anyone becomes a part of the total with the big current regardless of its own will. The abstract and symbolic subject of this film is eventually resistance for freedom. Resistance for freedom could happen to inner side of a person, or might be shown by a person who stands against the standardized whole. The answer is, of course, not suggested in this film. The film only displays and arouses the reality where we are now. The conclusion and any choice of a breakthrough are open to anyone. Moreover, the philosophy in this film is reinterpreted with Vivaldi Summer from Four Seasons.
