Program Note

There are many people living inside Robbie’s head. It’s as if crowds of crazy people are talking endlessly. A home that looks clean to other people appears dirty in his eyes. Once, a personality in his head threatened to eat Robbie’s brain and forced him to hurt his younger sibling. Ultimately, Robbie was diagnosed as being abnormal and began taking medicine to become normal. The world that I know has only been experienced by me, and the world that I haven’t experienced is one that I cannot see. The world experienced by the many is called “normal”, while the world experienced by the few is called “abnormal.” But the world that the few experience might also be called “original” or “diverse.” Perspectives beyond that of the many always offer something new.
