Synopsis

Mum would never lie to me, would she? Innocent Bobby discovers the answer to this question when she is surprised by a last-minute trip to the hospital.

Program Note

A young girl going through stormy teen years loves shooter games and rock bands. She is hungry and looks for her mom, but she’s on her way to a party. All of a sudden, we find ourselves in a surgery room, but why? The naive daughter trusted her mother only to be betrayed. The girl was always the one to get in trouble, but her trust has been broken. Adults are all liars. They’re ugly hairy rabbits with pointy ears. Children grow up when they begin to learn that honesty isn’t always the best policy, and sometimes a lie is necessary. This provocative film uses humor to show a moment when a person learns a life skill that is less than honorable. LEE Kyunghwa
