Synopsis
Bear Ung and Raccoon Young are colleagues who joined the company at the same time. Every year, all employees go on hibernation leave during the winter. However, at some point, Raccoon Young stopped taking hibernation leave and became entirely focused on work. Bear Ung doesn't understand Young's behavior but starts to feel conflicted as he sees Young rapidly climbing the corporate ladder. Gradually, the workplace atmosphere shifts towards not taking hibernation leave. Eventually, Ung decides to give up his hibernation leave and continues working, only to find himself becoming increasingly exhausted and worn out.
Director's Comment
In today's world, we enjoy abundance thanks to technological advancements. However, amidst this abundance, humans face social issues and stress in their daily lives. This short animation aims to convey these challenges from the perspective of animals. The struggles and experiences of Bear Ung and Raccoon Young as they work through the winter are very similar to the problems we face in our everyday lives. Through their story, the audience can find empathy and a sense of comfort. This is also a story about the diminishing leisure and rest in an increasingly competitive society.

Program Note
Can we put a brake on a society that is too heated? People who work ceaselessly for success are compared with animals that work without their winter sleep, revealing the director’s thoughts in a roundabout way. The film makes us wonder if we aren’t forgetting the things that we once took for granted and what we are so fiercely competing for in the first place. PARK Yuseon
