Synopsis

As his company goes through restructuring, Norman lives in constant fear of when it will be his turn to get fired. One day, Norman arrives at work and finds boxes on his desk, but his chair gone missing.

I dedicate this movie to all the chairs… uh, I mean normal humans, in the world.

Program Note

A man is anxious due to job cuts, and the chair runs away despite him. His feelings of anxiety are dramatically portrayed through the chase scene in pursuit of the uncontrollable chair. The mood is both desperate yet comical as the space becomes twisted and the man meets and explores other versions of him as his most authentic self. He refuses to stop obsessing over his own stability. Perhaps he is struggling to break free from the version of himself that is molded to fit the system. This is the story of ordinary people who search for themselves and look for stability in uncertain circumstances by pursuing yet another uncertainty.
