Program Note

Weaving memory and myth with delicate care, the film alternates between a black-and-white reality and the vivid, fantastical world unfolding through a grandmother's stories. A girl whose hard-won dream is stolen ultimately loses all color and disappears into the dark. The story seems to end there — yet the truth the granddaughter uncovers after her grandmother's death quietly illuminates the lives of women, passed down through generations in silence. A work that dissolves the boundary between fairy tale and reality, and invites us to reflect on the meaning of lost dreams with a gentle, lingering resonance.
