Program Note
A new chapter in the Battery Family series, following [Battery Daddy] and [Battery Mommy]. Built up frame by frame with felted wool dolls and lovingly crafted props, the stop-motion imagery feels so warm you can almost sense the maker's hands upon it. Amid a vivid, colorful palette that captures the flavor of rural life, moments of crisis are cut together with cross-editing that builds real, heart-pounding tension — the film embracing both warmth and excitement at once.
