Program Note

In the moment a race car driver's life of pure speed comes to a halt, the protagonist stumbles into water and finds himself face to face with a strange, unfathomable depth. As a life once fixed only on the outside world suddenly turns into a journey deep within, the unfamiliar water transforms into a mirror-like space where self and other, reality and illusion, cross paths. The inner fracture the protagonist undergoes lays bare the solitude of modern people, caught wandering between ideal and reality. Watching him confront himself in search of a true "oasis" leaves us asking whether we, too, need to pause for a moment and look inward.
