Program Note

A strange story that pushes forward through sensation rather than explanation. The date between a woman and an unfamiliar finger — somewhat funny, somewhat sweet, and somewhere in there, unsettling — reaches into the unconscious and paints a feeling that's hard to convey through anything but animation. Caught between laughter and a wince, unable to look away, this pleasure probably doesn't belong to the woman alone.
