Synopsis
On Jeju Island, the wind grows stronger and stronger, and the voices of the people are gradually drowned out.
Director's Comment
Through the wind, I wanted to convey, indirectly, the pain of Jeju's April 3rd tragedy.

Program Note
Jeju's ordinary days are buried beneath a fierce wind and snow, as if they'd never existed at all. Voices grow fainter and fainter, until all that's left is a silence swallowed whole by the wind. But we, in the present, have something on our side: memory, and the act of recording it. Rough hand-drawn lines and a trembling, fluttering texture take hold of fragments of memory that might otherwise have vanished, stitching them into the present. Like camellias falling and canola flowers blooming in their place, the faint sound of wind, drifting across the seasons, carries us at last into the following spring.
