Synopsis
Eunsu wants to become friends with Minsung, a classmate who sits right in front of her. However, she only finds herself staring intently at the back of Minsung’s head, unable to strike up a conversation. Frustrated and consumed by her own hesitation, Eunsu completely loses her grip on reality. As if falling into a dream, her body begins to shrink. Seizing the moment, she finally tries to speak to Minsung, but her voice fails to reach Minsung. When Eunsu finally snaps back to reality, she comes to a crucial realization: to truly connect with Minsung, she must physically walk up to Minsung and initiate a conversation.

Program Note
I could talk about her all day long. And yet, when I really stop to think about it, the fact that I don't actually know a single real thing about her fills me with something close to resentment. In the end, the only way for us to connect is to gather our courage and reach out. Only then do the scattered pieces finally link together, and a new story begins. Through vivid, inventive variations on the motifs of dots and lines, breaking apart and connecting, the film moves us, makes us root for it, and finally leaves us smiling. Any viewer who, like me, marvels at its wit and charm will find themselves bound to this film by a strong thread in no time at all.
