Program Note

A crow once seen only as a creature drawn to shiny things is reimagined as one that hesitates in the face of others’ standards. Carrying what it holds dear, the crow sets out on a journey and begins to waver as it encounters the city and its people. The sky it once freely flew through gradually becomes a confined space, and a shadow falls over its face. What the crow loses is not simply a necklace. At the end of its journey, we are left asking: In living by the eyes of others, what have we lost?
