Program Note

Movement is animation's very core. In [OHOIOrOI Syndrome], the world, its concept, and its music all reach the audience through movement alone. Glitch effects, lines, and polygons cycle through endless variation, making the same space feel newly seen each time, and the audience follows that movement to reinterpret the film as it unfolds. The work shows just how far animation can stretch when its only language is movement.
