Director's Comment

Everyone encounters the loneliness and sense of loss that comes with being alone. Through a caterpillar building a nest and enduring its own time while everyone else transforms into butterflies and leaves, I wanted to speak about a different kind of growth.

Program Note

In a landscape where light and shadow coexist, a nestling larva sets out in search of its friends. The surroundings, filled with the sounds of small beings, offer a sense of peace while quietly revealing the absence left behind. The vastness of nature embraces the nestling larva, yet makes the loneliness of a being left alone even more vivid. Following its journey, we come face to face with the feeling of standing alone in this vast world. The quietly gathered moments leave a lingering resonance.
