Flight bends proportion, moves things unnaturally, and layers dreamlike color over impossible space, until reality's order slips slowly out of place. Figures that resemble people but feel somehow foreign, and a world where scale and symmetry have collapsed, produce a sensation as strange as something glimpsed in a dream. The film's B-movie sensibility never settles for mere strangeness. Carefully designed images and movement, fused with the score, keep shaking us between discomfort and fascination. Following a character who longs for freedom, we're left asking whether escaping reality means liberation, or just another kind of illusion. Before trying to understand it, let the strange sensation take hold first.
