Synopsis
An animated music video that visualizes memories resurfacing late at night. Though tinged with sadness because they can never be returned to, these memories repeatedly fade and reappear, remaining as beautiful afterimages.

Program Note
Two in the morning, and a memory drifts up, unbidden — sometimes blurring, sometimes coming into sharp focus, like a landscape seen from far away. A longing and tenderness for a time that can never come back again makes those old memories glow all the more beautifully. The countless, varied moments of a life never really disappear; they stay, held somewhere deep inside. Color and music drift along with the feeling, like a slow swim through water, retracing the scattered pieces of memory one by one.
