Synopsis
A small sprout begins to wither under fierce winds and the harsh realities of the world. Yet, like the countless lives that endure in the forest, it quietly withstands every trial. In the end, it sheds its old cotyledons and gently unfurls a radiant new leaf.
Director's Comment
Through the journey of a sprout—from its birth, through hardship and setbacks, to shedding its cotyledons and growing new leaves—I wanted to explore the themes of adversity, perseverance, and growth. Rather than stating outright, "This is what growth is," I sought to express these ideas in a quiet, understated way by observing the sprout from a slight distance.

Program Note
A small and fragile sprout emerges into the world. Within the narrow, vertical frame, a small world unfolds, revealing how one being encounters the vast world around it. The sprout’s journey expands into the story of all beings that endure countless changes and continue to live on. Through a gaze that lingers, we come to discover the brilliance held within a small life.
