LEE Sung-gang
Born in 1962 in Seoul, Korea. Started he career as an animator in 1995 anddirected numerous short animations such as "The Soul","Lovers", "Umbrella", "Ashes in the thicket" andetc. Debut as a feature film animationdirector in 2002 with "Mari Story" and also directed feature film"Texture of Skin" in 2005, and feature film animation "Yobi: thefive tailed fox" in 2007. He wasawarded in 2002 26th Annecy International Animation Festival (Grand Prize),2004 Zagreb International Animation Festival (Special Award), and 2005 ChicagoInternational Children's Film Festival (Certificate of Excellence & 2ndPrize). He is currently in thepre-production of his next project, "Snow Queen: The Legend of LakeBaikal."
