Synopsis
There is a barren world hidden inside a camera where achild is locked away. Fear overwhelms the child, and the only way to escape itis to hide inside a box. A little light enters through the wall of the box.Using imagination, the child invents a game with the rays of the sun. Beinglonely is tiresome, but the child keeps playing the game with the rays oflight, and the box becomes full of memories. But things start changing once thechild becomes a grown-up.
Director's Comment
The child’s barrenworld represents my special place under my desk. It reminds me of my childhoodexperiences and losses. The camera needs the sun and the darkness to catch thelight. My special place is where I feel protected, so it has to be small andshady. A place of our own is sometimes lonely and boring, but the imaginationnever leaves me alone. I can paint that empty space with my colors, and itbecomes a story. It turns out to be a vast and bright room in the end. When Igrew up, I could not go inside that special place anymore. Sometimes, thenostalgia follows me around, but in an instant, I start looking for a newspecial place where I can begin a new story.
