Synopsis
The employees take a break during office hours and have a little timeto themselves in the restroom, where they complain about things happening inthe company. Their complaints are drawn on the toilet paper, then vanish intothe toilet.
Director's Comment
In [A Story on the Toilet], I made afantasy through which office workers relieve their stress at work. The toilet,where an employee can have private time during work, has more than onefunction. The employee goes there to answer nature’s call, to refresh oneself,or to unleash complaints about the problems at work. I associated the conceptof excretion and discharging complaints with the action of disposing of tissuesin the toilet. To effectively convey my intentions and allow the viewers to befully immersed, I drew the whole scene on tissue paper. I also used astop-motion format in scenes where the tissue paper is crumpled and thrownaway.
