This animated series is based on the book [Beauty Sick] and deals withthe diverse feelings among women in reaction to society’s obsession with appearance.

Director's Comment

I wanted touse animation to talk about the everyday pressures that women feel about theirappearance. In particular, I wished to send a message to female viewers thatthis pressure is not caused by anything that is lacking within yourselves.
