At a gathering amongfriends, Mi-sook meets someone that she likes and works up the courage to talkto him, but she is interrupted by the unwelcome arrival of her old friend Jay.Jay tries to help Mi-sook who isn’t proactive about dating, but goes aboutit in a much too proactive way.

Director's Comment

I haveheard of a woman’s monthly period being referredto obliquely as “great mother nature.” It must be a reference to a period being in the providence ofnature and beyond human control. I often thought that I was in control, butsometimes I am easily swayed by the primal nature inside me. This primal andnatural part of us seems strange in our society. But what if that strange partof us was made clearly visible to our eyes? It was always with me like a closefriend, but sometimes it makes me angry or embarrassed. I wanted to share thisexperience through My Best Friend BJ—a vulgar and comicstory in which J, who is true to her nature, puts her friend Misook in apredicament.
