The winged cat flies toward a woman who is reading a book. Withoutmaking a noise, the cat quietly flies into the woman’s nose. The womansneezes and blows the cat out of her nose.

People are enjoying the cherry blossoms and music on a spring day,when the sudden arrival of a gigantic being causes the crowd to be wiped fromexistence. The lone surviving creature picks up the music and enjoys the springday.

A figure whose body is burning with heat walks breathlessly across theground. Arriving at the destination, the figure begins to dig into the redearth with a shovel and makes a large pit. That’s when something remarkablehappens.

The sound of a mosquito can disturb our pleasant sleep, but what if wecouldn’t even hear the sound at all?This horrifying thought was the inspiration for this film. I wanted to usecreepy sounds and animation to show the cat hairs sneaking up on a person likea silent mosquito.

I made this film to portray ourselves living in extreme heat and toimagine an ideal and happy place where we can escape from the heat.
