We sculpt ourselves based on other people's opinions. The heroine, who is in her mid-twenties, is job hunting. She is on her way home after another tiring interview. There are lots of plastic surgery centers along the streets of Seoul, and many attractive men and women pass her by. Back home, she begins to write her resume again. All of sudden, out of the stack of resumes, an advertisement for plastic surgery catches her eye. While looking at the before and after photos of a woman who had plastic surgery, she pictures herself now and fantasizes about how bright her future would be. She decides that the key to changing her life for the better is to get plastic surgery. She builds up her courage and lies down on the operating table, looking forward to her bright future...

One fifth of Korean people having experienced plastic surgery. There is a high demand for plastic surgery in Korea compare to the size of the population. It is not hard to find people with similar faces, not only on television but also in everyday life. One day, I saw a flyer for a plastic surgeon on the subway with before and after pictures of a woman's face. The pictures of the woman looked incredibly different, and it left me wondering, "What happened in between?". The cosmetic surgery advertisement only shows us the before and after moments. In other words, there is only the past and the future. But we live in the present. People take risks to get plastic surgery, and I wanted to discover what happens in between the past and the future through this film.
