Episode 01 Becoming 'I'/ Episode 02 Separating 'Us'/ Episode 03 Defining 'Dream’

The company successfully develops 'magic matches.' These matches allow humans to breath anywhere the light reaches, including underwater. There are characters living underwater who become friends with humans. Actually, they are hired by the company as tour guides. The main character decides to purchase the magic matches after seeing an advertisement. They suffer from their painful memories, while the tour guide who lives underwater listens and teaches them how to "organize" their wounded mind. 

Why do we go to aquariums?

Throughout history, the “underwater” has been one of the most unreachable places humans have tried to investigate and ultimately fill with their own imaginations.

Fish displayed at fish markets transform into the reality of human life, fish kept in aquariums transform into human illustrated through works of art, and fish swimming freely underwater transforms into human living the idealistic life.

In each frame, these three steps seem like impenetrable territories, but they are not.

A whale coincidentally caught from the ocean can end up in an aquarium, can be sold at a fish market, or be released back into the ocean where it originally came from.

Although the stream of the story is well-edited and shows a very orderly depiction of the narrator’s life in which all the curves are flattened, the reason the audience can relate to the main character is that because this slice of his/her life is very similar to our own daily lives.

These blended images of fantasy and reality are illustrated throughout the three episodes of this work.
