Synopsis
A Korean woman is living in France. She speaks French fluently and lives an ordinary life. But one day, a French person's innocent comment causes the Korean woman to freeze and makes her ordinary life come crashing down.
Director's Comment
In the eyes of westerners, people from the east will always look like "foreigners" no matter how much we adjust to the local culture and language. We are reminded of this through the series of events in the film. Even something as basic as asking for directions requires the locals to wonder if "the foreigner" is speaking French in the first place. The short animation reveals the alienation that can be caused by such a simple question.
