Synopsis

In a dark and shadowy room, the light from the TV screen provides the only illumination. A woman drinks water and empties her bowels. Her appearance changes with the sounds of the advertisements on TV. As she applies her makeup, she confronts her own desires in the mirror.

Director's Comment

It ishard for a person to survive in this society unless he or she has so-calledsocial competitiveness including appearance, education and character, which isregarded as a standard of beauty. My desires are manipulated and censored bythe standards of others. In the end, my sense of self disappears and isreplaced by the values or philosophies of other people. Through my work, Iwanted say that most people in this society are controlled and consumed by thedesires of a deformed hybrid that does not belong to anyone.
