Director's Comment

The warm illustrations enhance the mood of the lyrical drama using a mise-en-scène with Korean sentiments. In the scenes of reunion, reminiscence, and final realization, the traditional visual technique suggests the changes in the main character and space. In the later sequence, twelve screen edits were made to match the diegestic sound of the cuckoo clock.
