Synopsis

Themain character is afraid of the way other people see him, due to his pastmemories. Although he plucks up the courage to step outside, the world is fullof fear. Eventually, the main character hides himself in a hat because of hisinsurmountable fear.

Director's Comment

Childhoodtrauma causes people to have a sensitive and fragile state that is the same aswhen they were children even when they are full-grown adults. So, I gave themain character the appearance of an immature child.

Thehat represents both the child’s trauma and the medium through which the childcan escape from the harsh reality into his own world. Although the child sneaksinto his own world by pulling the hat over his head, this scene shows that thechild is calling out for help. It may take some time, but I am sure thatsomeone will take the hat off the child.
