Synopsis
The newlyweds Mr. and Mrs. Kim were traveling around the world on their honeymoon when they met Feruza, a 17-year-old girl living in a small remote village in the Ethiopian desert. Feruza was full of dreams and even taught herself Korean and English by watching TV. However, her parents arranged for her to be married. The only way to avoid her fate was to move to a faraway city and find a job. The Kims gave up their travels in order to help Feruza achieve her dreams.
Director's Comment
While travelling with Feruza for two weeks, our perspectives on our dreams and travels were greatly changed. Through this film, we hope that many people will cheer on Feruza’s dream and their own dreams.
