Synopsis

Sora KIM tries to run away from thedentist. She is chased by a giant tooth, filling her with pressure and anxiety.Sora escapes from the dentist’s office which is filled with artificial plantsand arrives in a familiar forest. Her relief is only brief as the forest soontransforms into a concrete city.

Director's Comment

Themountain had long been a place where people who go with their families forrest, play, hiking, and picnics in the spring. But now it is walled off byexpensive apartments. The once-familiar natural landscape has disappeared,becoming a private garden belonging to wealthy individuals. These changes inthe landscape are a sign of our vanishing memories. The natural scenery andmemories that once comforted us in our difficult lives are disappearing fromour ever-changing communities, almost as if we are being pushed to forget ourpast and change with the times.

The maincharacter steps out of the imagination and sits passively in the dentist’soffice, removing a credit card from a nearly empty wallet and then putting itaway. In a life full of anxiety, where can we turn to for solace?
