Synopsis

The jaded subway operator in NYC finds his life repetitive andtedious. Once he and fellow passengers turn into toads, the operator exploresthrough portals to find what causes the transformation.

Director's Comment

Afterseveral over-nights in a row at work, I was in a subway car looking out thewindow. Seeing reflection of myself – I looked way too much aged compared tothe day before.

Contemplatingwhile looking at the reflection changing in every split of second, I sawsomething moving from the back of the lights. It could have been a homelessperson, or an abnormal creature. Seeing the unknown in dark – it was striking.

Iimmediately realized it was a reflex of my desire wanting something new,something to explore. My life was repetitive with a bunch of ‘same-old,same-old’s. Bits and bits of my thoughts started to float.

Thatnight, lying on my bed, the floating pieces of my thoughts were gathered intomy notes.

Here, Iquestion: Are you living in the world that you dreamed of?
