Synopsis

The story in, revolves around a fruit, persimmon, based off of a Koreantraditional saying, directly translated to, . It isdepicting the idea of greed and karma, and what a small simple thing/objectcould do to people.

Director's Comment

I wanted to show how people are influenced by the smallest things,and how they are changed by them. When we see the many different things thathappen in the world, there are so many bizarre and terrible events. Some of theperpetrators have a clear reason or motive. But on the other hand, some perpetratorssimply say, “I just did it.”

Permissions are a fruit thatare very popular in Korea, and an object of temptation. This small fruit wasthe starting point for exploring a story about the consequences of people’sgreed and desire.
